Crowdfunding for films (amongst other businesses and creative endeavours) have been at the forefront of the industry for quite sometime now. The question if you are just starting out is: What's the secret to a successful online marketing campaign to attract attention and funding to your work? Aside from having an amazing idea and/or a well developed project, you need to be up to date on the market trends and how to appeal to your audience. Take a cue from some of the leaders of these companies as they have witnessed the success of online campaigns firsthand and learn from successful filmmakers who have gone this route to get their film to the distribution phase.
